The lockdown is close to being over and the red carpet moments are fully back. We are talking about the 2021 BET Awards. Sorry, this is coming in a little bit late but it’s better to be late than nothing. So back to the red carpet moments, this year’s BET Awards red carpet features Ciara in a crystal-embellished catsuit and Saweetie in a super sexy plunging gown. There were misses and there were trendsetters. There were many sexy cutouts, sheer, and catsuit, embellishments, and so on.
This year’s show was hosted by Taraji P.Henson and many performances from the likes of Cardi B and Meghan The Stallion. There were surprises like Cardi B’s second pregnancy reveal and many more.
The 21st BET Awards took place on June 27, 2021. The ceremony celebrated achievements in entertainment and honours music, sports, television, and movies. The ceremony’s theme was “Year of the Black Woman” and was held in person with a vaccinated audience following the virtual ceremony the previous year. The event took place at Los Angeles Microsoft Theater.
Meghan the stallion, Cardi B, Burna boy, Bruno Mars, H.E.R e.t.c. owned the night with one to two awards from the night.
