Dua Lipa Receives Donatella Versace’s Seal Of Approval As The Face Of The Brand’s Fall 2021 Adcampaign

Dua Lipa has now officially become the face of Versace’s fall’21 advertising campaign, the campaign was shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Lipa has now joined the list of legendary celebrities like Lady Gaga, Madonna, Halle Berry, Jennifer Lopez, Elton John. Demi more e.t.c. that have covered the brand’s ad campaigns.  The campaign was a studio shot type with a grey backdrop. She had ginger hair, fresh makeup look with the brand’s signature clothing pieces styled by Lorenzo Posocco. The Looks feature bondage-inspired bustiers, brocade prints, golden safety pins, headscarves, and so on. In sum, the looks reflect very much of Dua Lipa’s personality.

Dua Lipa is an English singer and songwriter. After working as a model, she signed with Warner Bros. Records in 2014 and released her eponymous debut album in 2017.  Lipa is the full expression of who Versace is, luxurious, sexy, and audacious. Dua’s looks in this campaign say sexy, fun and sweet with her midriff exposed with a hint of pastel colour hues and finished with glittery jewellery.

Dua Lipa, other than being a singer and songwriter that she’s known for, she’s also known for her fashion love. She’s made many fashion statements on many red carpet events from Grammy Awards to Met Gala. Moreso, she never limited her expression for fashion on the red carpet, she’d take it to her social media posting various style looks from trendy looks, setting trends and embracing the classic ones. It’s always very gratifying when you see edgy models, fashion icons and singers like Dua Lipa come together with edgy and audacious brands like Versace to create something iconic. Her poses are right, her looks her classics yet modern, a campaign you’d look at a decade from now and still fit as new.
