The Covid’19 pandemic did not stop the MTV Video Music Awards, yes this year’s looked different because the award show wasn’t live and most accetance speeches, interviews, performances and red carpet moments were pre taped.
I know we all love the buzz and glitz of live shows, red carpet saga and seeing your favourite celebrities setting trends but this year’s didn’t stop any of these, the VMA’20 favoured Lady Gaga, who won the first Tricon award which is one of many along with her performance. Lady gaga did not stop there, she also treated us to many looks which weren’t missing her dramatic signature from bubble head gear by Conrad Muscarella, to her on stage looks by Iris Van Harpen, Valentino haute couture and Christopher John Rogers.
Performance also include Doja Cat who performed her single “Say So” and “Like That” wearing a scaled iridescent catsuit. Sofia Carson was wearing a dramatic Giambattista Valli haute couture gown, Miley Cyrus was also spotted rocking a sheer Mugler dress and Joey King kept it simple in Versace.
