You might be wondering. what are self-care products? Well, the answer is simply put, personal care. They’re personal care products that can be invested in to treat ourselves. And these can range from nail filler, foot massage, body massage, fragrances, candles, herbal tea, to mention but a few.
When it comes to taking time off to look after yourself, traditionally every weekend when off work. But with what is going on in the world right, from the global health pandemic to the Ukraine crisis, I believe self-care time should be an everyday business. It’s good to take at least 30mins to 1hr in a day to unwind, be alone, catch up with your spirit, listen to music and positive messages(gospel kinds of music and messages on YouTube do it for me in case you need a starter), yoga, massage your feet, a cup of camomile tea, spa-like bath at home, deep skincare routine, soaking your feet in warm water & Epsom salt, massaging your eye area with cooling ice globes, a glass of wine, sheet masking to gain back the moisture your skin has lost e.t.c. is worth more than gold.
Taking time to have self-care moments does not have to break the bank, meaning it’s not a luxury but affordable gold, It looks cheap but the health benefits are gold. The new world we now live in, is taking a toll on the mind, we’re all trying to make sense of it all, although things are easing out now nonetheless, do we know what will come next? Many of us despite the pandemic, we’re still physically working hard to meet professional deadlines and domestic/personal goals. So have your own personal time every day whether you’re a working mom, stay-at-home mom, a bank staff, or working from home staff e.t.c never forget your 30mins-1hr a day self-care.
