The Screen Actors Guilds Awards is back in its full glory, thanks to the vaccine’s success and the speed of its rollouts. Now that the health pandemic is behind us, the TV and film stars are out again on the red carpet and the word going around is either go big or go home. The celebrities showed up and they showed up big! The gowns, the bold colors, the pieces of jewelry, the beautiful looks! ahhhh!
There were a lot of fashion statements, from draped ball gowns to edgy masculine silhouettes, what about sequins and sparkles, even patent leather is not missing, it’s like everyone on the red carpet came to make up the lost times.
Take, for example, Kerry Washington, Jada Pinkett-Smith e.t.c. all played with voluminosity, Selena Gomez took a risk with her puffy sleeves gown, Cynthia Enrivo also made patent leather alright to wear on the red carpet. There were plenty of fashions to enjoy and the pure elegance in Lady Gaga’s gown? You need to see it to know what I mean. I also can’t help but notice Elle Fanning’s mannish edgy look.
The overall looks on the red carpet were the right mix of past and present, Selena Gomez’s dress should define that for us, with her vintage puffed up sleeves mixed with a simple and elegant silhouette, what about Lady Gaga’s crystalized bustier and the curve accentuating her waist with slightly flared hem, it’s just exquisite. Cynthia Enrivo’s red patent vinyl gown is just saying trendsetter, I’m telling you she’s the new age of style Icon to watch out for her.
