The Newyork Fashion Week is upon us and this time we are making a stop at Micheal Kors Spring Summer 2022 Ready To Wear runway show. The Micheal Kors SS’22 collection is nothing but sophisticated sexy, there were new trends and some ongoing trends.
The bralettes, coords, power suiting e.t.c. are still taking strides and some new noticed trends like laser-cut lace-like suit look and cords, Alencon laces made in dresses, coords, e.t.c. What stood out the most in the collection is the cape-like short suit, so sexy and very summer appropriate.
The models that walked the runway include, Kendal Jenner, Gigi Hadid e.t.c. The collection reflects Micheal Kors’ confidence as a designer, the same confidence which he reflected in the collection. The designs were very simple yet speak a lot loud, the sequins incorporated in the collection remind me of old Hollywood. Old Hollywood fashion that’s achievable by a girl next door. The cape-like suiting, the nappy shorts incorporated with crop tops, pastels e.t.c they all speak optimism.
The beauty looks on the model on the runway were very simple – the looks featured nude eyes – nude lips or nude eyes – red lips with hair sleeked back. The style looks were completed with basket bags/leather bucket bags filled with roses which speaks romance and shoes were mostly slingback heels, sandals, and pumps.
