As part of Balenciaga’s ongoing campaign, the brand released the second segment of its campaign, and guess what, Kim Kardashian and Balenciaga are now official.
The socialite and mom of 4 was spotted in the ad campaign lounging on a couch, posed as if she was taking a selfie. She wore an all-black ensemble of course, by Balenciaga, the look featured a body fitting top – 3b Sport Icon Fitted Longsleeve Top £495.00, leggings – 3d Sport Icon Leg Cut Out Athletic Leggings £550.00, Balenciaga logoed geometric heeled sock bootie – Sock 50mm Bootie In Black £1,050, and a neon green shoulder bag- Le Cagole Xs Shoulder Bag Crocodile Embossed In Yellow £1,500.
The campaign was shot at her Calabasas’ home by Stef Mitchell, her beauty look was simple nude eyes with winged out eyeliner, matte nude lips, and a braided ponytail hairstyle.
Kim Kardashian has been a long time friend to Balenciaga’s creative director Demna Gvasalia, she’s also a fan of the brand, as she’s been on red-carpet – Met gala to be precise, wearing a head-to-toe Balenciaga looks, and she’s been spotted on social media wearing the brand’s all-black look for what looks like the Kardashian’s events. This will be her first official campaign for the brand and the ‘the simplicity, the relatable’ campaign is stunning and edgy.
Balenciaga’s Spring 2022 campaign features an impressive lineup of celebrities, models e.t.c. and Kim’s campaign seems to be amongst them. The brand also featured french actor Isabelle Huppert who was in its fall ad campaign, model Tommy Blue, artist Marie-Agnès Diene in its Spring’22 campaign, and all were photographed at the comfort of their homes and studios.
