The Dior Cruise’21 Campaign is enchanting, it reminds me of an ancient art from Italy. The models for this current adcampaign are Chai Maximus, Maty Fall, Maryel Uchida, Selena Forrest and Sora Choi. They were shot by Lean Lui with a rustic brick background.
The brand’s creative director Maria Grazia Chuiri have really stepped up the fashion house’s aesthetics by dropping all of the glitz & glam and opting for a simple, conservative yet elegant theme. Thank God it wasn’t shot in a studio with a just a plain white or black backgroud, but this simple work had a lot of thought put into it. The photographer and creative director chose somethere that looks like an italian underground railway but actually a landscape. The syling is very vintage, the models didn’t need to do much and the makeups were minimal. We love it.
Christian Dior also nveiled a gorgeous enchanting fashion film along with the campaign images. The fashion fillm was directed by Fabien Baron, and it featured a dusty, sun drenched landscapes where the indigines of Puglia(pizzica tarantata), introduced the collection with rather an emotinal traditional dance and song.
