Gwyneth Paltrow Wins Her Ski Crash Trial With $1 In Damages

Gwyneth Paltrow an American actress and businesswoman who is also a mom wins her ski crash trial with $1.00 ‘change’ lol! Gwyneth was sued by a retired doctor Terry Sanderson who claimed to have had a brain injury, broken ribs, and disrupted life due to the crash incident between him and Gwyneth.

The American actress was at Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah, with her children and husband Brad Falchuk, when the incident occurred, Sanderson said she only “got up, turned and skied away”. Gwyneth denied all these claims saying Sanderson actually skied into her “f—king back.” making him guilty of the collision. She later apologised to the court; “I apologize for my bad language, that is not my custom.”

Sanderson initially asked for more than $3 million in damages, which was later reduced by his lawyers to $300,000, well the verdict was announced yesterday afternoon, with the jury decision in favour of Gwyneth not blaming her for the 2016 collision with retired doctor Terry Sanderson. Sanderson bowed his head in defeat while Gwyneth, 50yrs, was seen smiling after hearing the news.

Paltrow counterclaimed for a “symbolic” $1 in damages including her lawyers’ fees, and I wonder why the $1 counterclaim was symbolic, well let’s just guess Paltrow is saying to Sanderson ‘You can’t touch my money and I don’t need yours or better said I’m rich, you’re poor’ lol!’

When the goop founder was asked how much the collision cost her she replied; “Well, I lost half a day of skiing,”. The verdict Paltrow received is similar to that of Taylor Swift who also counterclaimed a radio DJ David Mueller for the same ‘symbolic $1’ in 2017. When asked about this, she responded “I would not say we’re good friends. We are friendly,” she added, “I’ve taken my kids to one of her concerts before, but we don’t talk very often.”

After the court hearing the mom of two took it to Instagram saying; “I felt that acquiescing to a false claim compromised my integrity,” she continued “I am pleased with the outcome and I appreciate all of the hard work of Judge Holmberg and the jury, and thank them for their thoughtfulness in handling this case,”
