As we are now in between two seasons, late summer sun and autumn-winter cold, this meaning we are now getting ready to swap our skimpy cutouts to something warmer. This season we are right now is not the time to start wearing our heavy-duty coats and sweaters but a little addition to what we’re currently wearing will keep us cool enough when the temperature drops unexpectedly and mostly in the morning and at night. This is why I am introducing you to the blazer vest or sleeveless blazers.

Blazer Vests are sleeveless blazers with lapels, they can be double-breasted or single-breasted. They most time come with many buttons and some can come with just one/zero button.

Blazer vests are a great addition to our transitional style looks. What do I mean? I mean now that we’re still in between cold and warm weather, adding a blazer vest to your summer dresses will give you the balance in your body temperature when out and about. Blazer vests can fit many lifestyles from running errands, to work or even attending the fashion week.

Blazer vests are easy to style, they can be worn with our favourite summer dresses as I said earlier, they can be styled with our favourite denim jeans and shirts, they can be paired with your favourite shorts e.t.c. They can also be worn alone as a dress and finished with your favourite boots and racer jackets.

Blazer vests are great for layering during the late winter cold months and they can be the only layering you need in this late summer to the early autumn season. They are so versatile to use in this mid-season whereby you can pair them with your favourite summer style looks when it gets cold at night or early in the morning and can be taking off when the weather gets warmer in the afternoon.

Blazer vests are lighter and with the same smart vibe of a jacket, they can come in classic pinstripes, cool wools, tan or tonal colour hue,  balanced with brass buttons for a new take on Wall Street, the choices are yours. For finishing touches, I recommend sleeking your hair back to highlight how the lapel of the jacket looks over whatever is underneath and adding some statement earrings to really frame your face and brighten your mood.
