Zac Posen is known for his reputation on the red carpet, for his ready to wear gowns and for his role as a judge on Project Runway.
The Zac Posen brand was founded in 2001 by Zachary E.Posen, and according to WWD, the employees of the well known label were notified that the company would be ceasing operations.
Zac said ” The board made a difficult decision,” “We were in a sale process and we ran out of time.”
Posen took it to social media last friday, he wrote; “I want to express my appreciation to our extraordinary team and for all those who have stood by me and the brand,” “I owe a great deal of gratitude for their unwavering support for and dedication to the Company. I am grateful to the team who lent their incomparable talent and commitment along the way. I remain incredibly proud of what we created and hopeful for the future. Love ZP.”
The label whose crafts has been worn by likes of Beyonce, Rihanna, Natalie Portman and many other celebrities. Zac Posen has won CFDA awards for his craftsmanship and has dressed supermodels like Winnie Harlow as lately as September 2019, Newyork, has decided to shut down.
