When Fashion & Football Meet For A Good Cause

WHEN FASHION & FOOTBALL MEET FOR A GOOD CAUSE

CFDA x NFL

ALICE & OLIVIA

Just in case you have no idea what these stand for, CFDA is the Council of Fashion Designers of America and NFL is the National Football League of America. So, what do two organizations like these can possibly have in common? Well, they both sort of like Super Bowl, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. So what they did is that they asked 50 CFDA members to create 50 Bespoke Footballs to celebrate one of the most anticipated sports events of the year.

JENNIFER MEYER

All 50 Bespoke Footballs will be auctioned off on the official NFL site, with the proceeds going to the NFL Foundation, which is a non-profit organization that supports the athletes, youth football teams and the communities that support the organization. It is undoubtedly an ultimately innovative and thoughtful initiative, which not only supports sports, but also promotes highly creative and successful minds, while showing that their talent is not limited only to fashion, accessories, or jewellery design, but it can go as far as creating a Football that a piece of art itself.
