During the London Fashion Week 2019, the fashion pack soaked up the brand new Spring 2020 collections. There were more hits than miss during the show, we are focusing on the brands that made a hit like Victoria Beckham and JW Anderson.

Read on to discover all the hits and surprises from London Fashion Week Spring 2020. Milan here we come!

Victoria Beckham

Victoria Beckham SS’20 collection are all a hit, the collection is lovely, refreshingly relaxed feminine, it echoes late 00s Chloe, Lanvin, YSL and McCartney with lots of good tailoring. The collection is solid and more so than in recent seasons.

JW Anderson

The JW Anderson SS’20 collection is beyond good during the London Fashion Week, there was a rise in desire to shop after the show. The collection was fabulous with ambitious tailoring. The blue draped top worn with the white skirt is pure love for us. The black and silver coats, that blue dress on Adut and the aforementioned ribbon suits are so beautifully proportioned and constructed. What’s not to love? The brand has now finally found a perfect balance of glamour and luxury, there were so many beautiful detailing( I love the rhinestone cut-outs and those little mohair dresses), use of fabrics, a fresh take on the 70s.

Margaret Howell

We love Margaret Howell collection, the SS’20 has beautiful and classic pieces for the everyday wardrobe, the styling is beautiful, the fabrics are fantastic, the beautiful prints, cuts and colours are to be coveted.

Chalayan

Chalayan SS’20 collection is such a smooth, warm and honest one with the way he constructs clothes. Just for the very fact of being the very opposite of the kind of designers being hyped these days (PR whores, technically inept, social media darlings, marketing stunts, etc.), We hold him in high regard.

Simone Rocha

The collection is lovely and perfectly styled, too. She use to be part of a new wave of young British talent, but she’s now convinced us she’s moved past that. She’s part of the establishment now. The collection is a beautiful dream with Exquisite layering like fine china wrapped in feathery soft silkiness. The collection is romantic and what we adore the most about Simone’s work is that she really commits to her work. She designs with a precise focus and passion to learn more. She is able to expand her vocabulary while still writing the same story. Yet each paragraph continues to excite and feels refreshing.

Erdem

This season, Erdem turned up the drama that’s so great, elevated and expansive. The hats are to die for, really good styling. We are in love with the collection.

Dilara Findikoglu

We love what this brand is saying especially her styling, the collection is great with potential. It’s a beautiful unevenness. The brand’s work is Somehow guessed as a Central Saint Martins alum’s collection just by looking at it.
