Steven Meisel Steps Behind The Lens Of Louis Vuitton’s Spring Summer’21 Campaign

Most Magazines, luxury fashion brands are known to be drawn to Steven Meisel as their photographer, simply because he can’t go wrong when it comes to capturing those edgy magazine covers or advertising campaigns. He’s worked for brands like Zara, MaxMara, Dior, Versace e.t.c. This season, Louis Vuitton allow Meisel to step behind the lens of their Summer’21 campaign, he also shot the campaign for LV’s Alma handbag last month.

There were cast of 5 models which featured Akon Changkou, Ida Heiner, Ashley Radjarame, Rianne Van Rompaey, and Jade Nguyen. The models were shot in studio with grey backdrop all wearing Louis Vuitton’s ‘Summer By The Pool Collection’ accessorised by the brand’s leather goods like totes, top hand bags etc.

The campaign is very pleasing and it’s good to see Steven was able to bring the best out of the models, he was able to deliver polished and sunkissed looks. This campaign is much appreciated compare to the Alma handbag campaign with bad hair fiasco.

The summer by the pool collection includes soft pastel hue of dusty pink, sunny orange and sky blue in their monogram designs, new and exclusive handbags called the marshmallow and paillon bb, e.t.c.

”Across a comprehensive range of ready-to-wear, accessories and shoes, the summer collection also enlivens some of the Maison’s most iconic leather goods such as the Onthego, Keepall, and NéoNoé,” said Louis Vuitton.
