Plaids Are Also A Spring Appropriate Pieces To Flaunt This Season

When we hear plaid, the first thing that comes to mind is fall fashion. But plaids fit the hot weather season too, They come in various pastel shades that make them very stylish this season.

Celebrities like Irina Shayk has been sporting this trend and designer like Vivienne Westwood has also celebrated the plaid trend. Plaid print seems to look like a temporary trend but never goes away. Plaids in form of blazers, shirts e.t.c. have been wardrobe classics and I believe everyone should have at least one piece in their wardrobe.

Plaids now come in cords of various pastel and other spring colours, they can be worn as a blouse matched with a good pair of jeans, they also come in shorts and even dresses. The plaid prints are easy to style, just match a piece with your favourite solid colour, or mix two plaid prints of different colour hue to match each other, or simply keep your look very minimal by wearing an all-nude look with a pair of plaid shoes to finish it. Plaids can also be mixed with other graphic prints like polka dots, stripes or animal prints. Your plaid blazer can be worn with your favourite leather trousers or shorts. Plaid dresses can also be worn with your favourite cropped jacket this season, with that you get to keep warm in the unstable spring weather and also give your dress a little shape.

If you’re looking into adding a little edge to your look, you can go monochromatic with your plaid style – just wear your well-tailored black and white plaid trousers with a white short/long sleeve button-up shirt to add a punk along with your favourite neon pumps(court shoes).

While the spring weather is still in between cold and cool, why not wear your black top and trousers(can be leggings or jeans) with a pair of black hiker boots and finish the look with a plaid shacket – looks better if it’s in a pastel hue.
