Madonna was spotted in Newyork city a day before her hospitalization in great spirit until she was reportedly “vomiting uncontrollably” and bedridden.
According to pagesix, the 65yrs singer-songwriter was seen visiting the Karl Lagerfeld exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum in New York City along with her assistant and dancer on Saturday, she was wearing an all-black casual assemble – black sweatpants, paired with a black long-sleeve shirt and a black baseball hat, she completed the look with a pair of white Nike Air Max sneakers. This was hours before she was found unresponsive at her home and then rushed to the hospital.
She was admitted into ICU and her manager said in a social media post that she “developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several-day stay in the ICU.” Although full recovery is expected, the ‘Material Girl’ had been battling with a month-long subtle fever before she was found unresponsive on Saturday.
Amidst the rehearsal for her upcoming “Celebration” tour, which was set to kick off in Vancouver, Canada on July 15, Madona had been “strenuously rehearsing” for the past weeks she ignored her health.
The Queen of Pop and a mother of six is now discharged at home recovering and her family had been a great support in this ordeal.
