Christain Dior’s 60s Inspired Spring Summer 2022 Ad Campaign

Dior Spring Summer 2022 Campaign

Maria Grazia Chiuri the creative director of the Dior fashion house, made a stop at Brigitte Niedermair’s creativity – I’m talking of the photographer. Not that Bridgitte is the first photographer Chiuri has worked with, throughout Chiuri’s tenure at the French’s fashion house she’s worked with many photographers ranging from Brigette Lacombe, Paola Mattioli to Elina Kechicheva and they all have captured the legendary French fashion house’s ad campaign.

This season’s campaign (SS’22), the overall campaign looks very artistic, and it was known to be inspired by the pop universe of Italian artists – Anna Paparatti, Sofia Steinberg, Maryel Uchida, Sculy Mejia, and Naomi Ekindi. The brand played with geometric prints as its background for the campaign allowing the models to stand out in the photo wearing Christain Dior’s latest launch – Spring Summer 2022 collection.

The composition of the campaign is beautiful, love the fact that the models aren’t doing much in the shot, because of the prints used as the background of the image. In as much as the street is criticizing the campaign as a ‘photo shot in a zebra crossing, and models looking like mean girls crossing the road’.
