Carolina Herrera Resort’22

The Carolina Herrera resort 2022 collection was full of cheers and colors. They are mostly occasion wears and basics. There are some Spring Summer’21 trends like large floral prints, denim on denim, stripes voluminosity, cape blend, tie-dye, metallics, monochromes, bold colours, oversized bags and so on.

The beautiful thing about Carolina Herrera’s designs is one word ‘Practicality’, meaning achievable fashion, achievable style, you’d look into her collections and you can see yourself wearing them. The brand’s designs and styling fit many lifestyles in the everyday woman – from party dresses to workwear and having drinks with friends wear, you’ll definitely find something that fits and also ripped from the runway.

The brand’s creative director Wes Gordon said “To me, it was really about all those things that we’ve been missing: togetherness, laughing, dancing, long dinners with friends, travel, celebrations.”

Their occasion wear featured Voluminous sleeves dresses, ruffled jumpsuit and dresses, asymmetric dresses, animal print oversized blazers, puffy sleeve blazer dresses, sequin dresses and match set, cape dresses, floral print dresses e.t.c, and the basics range from denim trousers and tops, cut-out skater dress, stripy tops and dresses, multicolour stripy dress, puffy sleeves trench coats e.t.c The collection has the most appropriate style-looks that will fit any post-pandemic outings.

The trends of the season are not missing in the collection Broderie Anglaise in a form of a midi-length skirt and cropped T-shirt to match. The monochromatic magic also came in the form of well-tailored black shorts and a cape-like blouse. Finally, another spotted trend is the cool khakis which the Coralina Herrera brand designed in cape blend dress, midi-length skirt and military design button down belted dress, you’ll surely find something that fit many outings this spring-summer season, whether you’re a millennial or Gen Z. What stole the show for us here at Covet are the black ruffled jumpsuit, black ruffle sleeve dress, the mixture of the red tie-dye large print floral top with a floor-length tie dye large print floral skirt and the sequin top and short match set. By the way, a big congratulations to Wes Gordon and his husband Paul Arnhold on the arrival of their first child.
