Achenrin Madit is one of the women of colour who topped the list of top models for Fashion Month Fall 2020. She is one of the new faces who showed up during the AW’20 fashion week and dominated the field. The Diversity report in the fashion industry has been seriously impressive, many women of colour from China to Africa have been celebrated on runways and Achenrin Madit is one to be recognized.
While Achenrin Madit didn’t make our top models list from New York, she tops the list of top models for the entire season. In New York, she hit the catwalk for Jason Wu, R13, Carolina Herrera, Michael Kors Collection, Marc Jacobs, Proenza Schouler (which she opened) and others. Across the pond, there was JW Anderson, Simone Rocha, Victoria Beckham, Richard Quinn, etc. Milan saw her represent Alberta Ferretti, Fendi, Versace, Tod’s, Missoni, Salvatore Ferragamo and more. Over in Paris, it was Loewe, Haider Ackermann, Nina Ricci, Valentino, Kenzo, Sacai, Lacoste, Miu Miu and many more.
She scored 38 Shows in total just for the Fall Winter 2020 fashion week. She’s indeed a woman to be celebrated.
