Well we heard you Gemma, we now want to wear the cold-shoulder style. The actress attended the 2019 Apex for Youth Gala in New York City on Wednesday night. Many celebrated the evening with printed gowns and suits, Gemma Chan made a statement in her all black ensemble.
The ensemble which was designed by Laura Kim and Ferndando Garcia for Monse. The dress was an asymmetrical hemline, twisted fabric at the waist and an off-the-shoulder neckline with a single long sleeve. Although the ‘cold shoulder’ clothes in our wardrobe had been gotten rid of seasons ago, but Gemma Chan has made us reconsider it again. She was styled by Rebecca Corbin-Murray, who paired the actress’s dress with a matching clutch and pumps, as well as a pair Katkim diamond earrings.
The actresses beauty look was done by the makeup artist Daniel Martin who worked his magic by keeping the look simple with smokey eyes and bold red lips – with the help of Dior Beauty, Clé de Peau Beauté, Tatcha and Honest Beauty. Along with her makeup, chan styled her hair in a sleek low bun with deep part, hair was styled by Christopher Naselli.
