Nicki Minaj has announced to be officially a Mrs. A video was shared on Instagram showing a matching “Mr.” and “Mrs.” mugs, as well as “Bride” and “Groom” caps.
“Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty 10•21•19,” Minaj captioned the video clip.
The wedding rumour which has been fueled by the rapper in the past year, revealed in June that she and Petty, 41, a registered sex offender who was convicted for the attempted rape of a 16-year-old girl, had gotten their marriage license.
“We did get our marriage license,” Minaj said on her “Queen Radio” show on Apple Music. “I think I have what I was striving for, just happiness. It was so hard to get to a happy place. Now that I’m there I don’t want to compromise that for anyone or anything.”
Minaj had also changed her Twitter handle to Mrs. Petty back in August. The couple also made their romance Instagram official last December.
