As the new year is finally here, I am very sure it has many booked parties and celebrations, including hosting some at-home gatherings. That being said, what about everyday cooking that’s so therapeutic to many of us? So the place we feel most at home is the kitchen, if you like to host parties it starts from the kitchen, if you like to cook, it starts from the kitchen, in there we try new recipes, experiment with new flavour combinations, prepare elaborate dinners, etc.
The love of cooking has reached new heights for many of us after experiencing the lockdown and I don’t think it’s going anywhere soon or again. Having fallen in love with cooking again means more time we spend in the kitchen and this also requires more Gadget.
This brings us to the purpose of today’s article, the food blender, the one kitchen gadget chefs, and food lovers can’t afford not to have. It can be used to mix, grind, crush, and puree emulsified foods from vegetables to spices & herbs, from making soup to cooking a tasty spicy stew that goes well with any type of rice; ‘uhm…’
A food blender also features a container with propeller-like blades at the bottom that are whirled by a high-speed motor. A good food blender must be easily detachable for easy cleaning, there are glassy options if that’s your preference and there are plastic ones that are much lighter. There are hand blenders, that give you more control, and there are mini blenders too for small spaces and travel
