Going through the internet and reading what’s trending and what will soothe my fancy, I spotted two bags that really stood out to me this new season. They are the JW Anderson bumper bag and the Charles & Keith Lana bag, both bags are part of the Spring Summer 2023 bag trend called the bumper bag trend.
To be honest, both bags have the Genz vibe, if you ask me. Moreso, they’re not only appealing to the younger generation but to many just because of the way both designers didn’t over-design them. Minimal design with a soft edge here and there, take the Charles & Keith Lana bag, for example, It has this bubble handle that just stole my heart which is the only element of the bag that makes it edgy, and the JW Anderson Bumper bag has this love and hate emotions attached to it, the bag is not too beautiful and not too ugly due to the soft plushy tube-like edge around the bag and nothing else going on. I can predict as the year goes on, the bags are going to be everywhere, and even sold out if you don’t grab them as quickly as you can.

Finally, we have the Charles & Keith Lana Bag, another shoulder bag with curved silhouettes and a bubble handle, the handle is detachable and adjustable. The bag also has two additional handles should you prefer another, they are the ombre plastic chain handle and wide canvas handle. It’s a bag that will fit your everyday lifestyle, not overly big or small, just the perfect size. Made with faux leather and has a zip closure.
