Innovation? Check! that’s what the newly launched Huda Beauty Glowish blur jam silicone-free smoothing primer can be described as.
It’s a highly raved makeup product that has become every beauty influencer’s cult favourite. It’s silicone free, with instantly smoothing, mattifying, and breathable properties. It contains skin-loving ingredients like Damascus rose water, prickly pear, and cactus flower extract to help boost hydration, calm the skin and maintain skin barrier protection. It has a pore-blurring ability for up to 12 hours and gives hydration with continued use for up to 28days. I’m not sure about you, if any beauty product will blur and shrink the size of pores with a boost of hydration, it’s a yes! yes! for me.
Babs beauty, a beauty blogger said in her review about this product ‘I just have to talk about this product, it’s blown me away, and it really has made me more confident, especially when I’m filming, and looking back to my makeup looks, I’m always beating myself up, that I have large pores, even after all these makeup products, they’re still noticeable, and they bother me. And then this primer came into my life, I honestly thought it will do nothing for my skin, but I noticed since my last 6 – 8 videos, I have never had the thought about my textures, it really helps with my pores, and I’ve been really impressed with this, it’s been my new holy grail, I still use my favourite Hourglass primer and Tarte primer, but if I have to choose, it has knocked out Tarte primer including Hourglass, there’s just something special about this one.’
By the way, if anyone say my textures when talking about their skin it means they have textured skin which means large noticeable pores from genes that can lead to rough-looking skin, high sebum(oil) production, acne, e.t.c., and primers, on the other hand, are used as a base for any makeup look, it’s usually the second to the third step in any makeup routine i.e. after applying your serums and moisturisers then come to your primer.
The glowish blur jam silicone-free smoothing primer has an interesting texture, it is super thick, and won’t fall out of the jar, but the real texture is a thin lightweight gel with a cooling sensation and spreadable on the skin with gentle hydration.
