Ralph Lauren Drops Its Net Zero Emission Target To Re-strategise

The company has decided to focus on rolling a five year target to curb planet warming greenhouse gas emissions when it realised its Net Zero Emission target for 2040 will only take longer time to achieve with no guarantee it will be achieved.

At the moment its new focus which is said to be more concrete with nearer term climate commitment has already exceeded its current target which is to cut greenhouse gas emissions by 30% by 2030.

The green house gas emission target is said to be inline with global ambition to cap atmospheric heating to level that avoid climate crisis. The company said in a statement: ‘“This approach is intended to deliver impactful results and drive accountability,”
