After the representation of Valentino’s fashion and accessories range, the already designated ‘Maison Valentino DI.VA’ Florence Pugh is now the new face of Valentino’s color cosmetics range.
Pugh 27, is a British actress who debuts her career back in 2014, she took a role in the drama film ‘The Falling’, and she went on to take a lead role in the film ‘Lady Macbeth’ in 2016, winning a British Independent Film Award, that’s how she gained recognition and became a household name.
On Monday, Valentino announced Pugh as its new brand ambassador for its beauty range, having just recently branched into beauty itself, a beauty line that was birthed by the brand’s creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli; “I thought a lot about the idea of introducing a make-up line, Couture is about the excellence of execution but it also evaluates a very personal approach, so when it came to deciding the intention of this line, it had to match with everything I stand for and that we stand for as a brand: the celebration of self-expression.”
Florence Pugh has had a well-documented relationship with the brand – for example, Valentino designed Pugh’s 2023 MET Gala look, including her transparent Maxi skirt for the couture house’s Fall 2023 runway show, she now joins the likes of Lady Gaga, and Adut Akech as the faces of Valentino beauty.
