When it was first spotted on madonna it’s was a vulgar look back then, we love to hate it, so, we left it alone to be for stage presence only but Dolce & Gabbana is proved us all wrong. The brand has done it again making the 1950s fashion a now fashion trend, a design meant for the stage and performing art is now an outfit that can be worn as our everyday look. I can see myself wearing any of the pieces from the brand’s SS’25 runway to wedding parties, dinner dates, red carpet events etc. It’s couture made easy for us fashion lovers.
The runway was filled with eveningwear, starting with the romantic rose print dresses, to sheer and lace dresses, and what’s the edge? – The Cone Bra! . There were trench coats, furs, Mary Jane pumps, sequins, box top handle mini bags, tulles, fringes and satin fluidity, making the runway an expression of exquisite sophistication and delicate brilliance.
Oversized earrings adorned with black crystals is definitely the trend and the Dolce & Gabbana SS’25 runway has proved that to us. The model walked down the runway with the audacious eye catching adornment we can’t help but notice, some designed as a cross while some are in the form of a chandelier in gold with black accent, a classic Dolce & Gabbana standout taste. For the beauty look, it was soft pink lips and cheeks with femme fatale eyes and the iconic madonna’s hair style.
