A Canadian fashion model and one of the top supermodels from the 1990s who has featured in over 700 magazine covers and countless ad campaigns, Linda Evangelista has made a comeback to our screen featuring Fendi Baguette Handbag.

The Fendi Baguette handbag is an iconic classic bag that keeps coming back season after season with different updates. The baguette handbag first came out in 1997 created by Silvia Venturini and became the ‘it’ bag when popularised by ‘Sex and the City’ (an American romantic comedy-drama TV series) in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The made-in-Italy bag is made with 100% calf leather skin, it featured a front flap, leather details, and a magnetic clasp. Can be worn on the shoulder, carried by hand, or like a clutch due to its detachable handle.

So when Linda Evangelista was spotted has the face of the iconic bag, it was like a Legend meets an Icon, such a perfect match. The campaign was shot by the legendary Steven Meisel and styled by Carlyne Cert de Dudzeele. The campaign itself featured Linda wearing knitwear finished with stack-on pastel pink face caps with matching pink sunglasses and finally silvery sequined variation of the baguette bag.

Overall the ad campaign is such an urban chic campaign that’s made another history in Fendi fashion house and another accomplishment for Linda Evangelista. We love it here at Covet and the street agrees with us too. Here’s the proof of what the street is saying – from the thefashionspot forum, a member of the forum commented: “The queen is back!” proclaimed caioherrero. and another said: “Shaking, crying, throwing up. What a spectacle!! La Linda and Meisel reunited at last and we get Carlyne to top it off? I’m too ecstatic to form objective criticism or full-length sentences, this is just easily the most exciting campaign I’ve seen in years,” raved aracic.
