Tom Ford Spring Summer’20 Collection

Tomford took over an abandoned subway for his spring summer 2020 collection. The fashion mogul decided to give us the Newyork grits and it was well served.

The designer and the chairman of CFDA was doubted as regards his commitment to New York City considering the fact that he is a texan born designer who keeps residence in Los Angeles and London, but Tomford has proven beyond doubt that he belongs to NYC grits and grime too.

The premier American luxury designer didn’t get grittier than the subway, this is the reason why we presumed Ford decided to host his Spring 2020 fashion show at an abandoned train platform at the Bowery stop. This stop is important because it’s the same stop where Valentino staged the now-iconic shot of Naomi Campbell in a sequined couture look back in April 2019.
