It was announced on Tuesday Skims and Nike are coming up with their own fitness brand called NikeSkims. The new brain child brand is a blend of Nike’s athletic wear with Skims innovative shape wear.
“This partnership is the culmination of that shared vision, delivering product that is meticulously designed to sculpt and perform for everybody. Every single detail has been obsessed over and carefully considered.” said Kim Kardashian co-founder and creative director of Skims
The collaboration between the two is no surprise, Skims has been partnering with many brands lately namely Fendi, Swarovski, Dolce & Gabbana to mention but a few but Nike and Skims share many thing in common which explains why both brands didn’t just collaborate to release a capsule but to create a brand – they both have deep commitment to innovation, inclusivity, empowering women and pushing boundaries.

According to press release NikeSkims will produce a broad range of fitness line including apparel, footwear, and accessories to carve body’s natural silhouettes. The brand is not limiting its distribution to the US market but also worldwide. First drop will be released this Spring while global drop will be in 2026.
Many celebrities have partnered with athletic brands from Rihanna x Puma to Beyonce x Adidas but Kim’s Skims pathenership is a record breaker. For both brands to come up with an independent brands speaks how much they both want to keep the relationship a long term. Nike is never partnered with a brand Skims will be the first, Heidi O’Niel president of consumer, product & brand at Nike inc, said in a statement:
