Nike has had its book full of great collaborations and the brand is partnering once again with the British makeup artist -Isamaya Ffrench, making her another addition to Nike’s impressive roster of relevant collaboration.
Isamaya Ffrench is a British makeup artist, owner of Isamaya Beauty and creator of wearable arts. Isamaya has worked with many fashion editorial magazines. It’s no surprise the British artist makes a perfect fit to the Nike brand – the mixture of beauty and fashion is just sensational.
Ffrench had her take in the Nike Air Max Dn in two colour ways chocolate and nude, she said in a statement : “It’s been inspiring, working with athletes throughout this journey with Nike — and humbling to feel that the things I’m creating help these women feel good and give them the confidence to perform at their peak and define their own authentic creativity in expression,”
While parthnership with the beauty world is a new thing to Nike – the brand’s bold step has definitely contributed something new to the Air Max Dn silhouettes thanks to Ffrench’s sense of colour and texture. She chose chocolate and peachy nude shade which are the new red lipstick in the beauty world right now as nude makeup look is the trend – incorporating it into fashion is definitely a distinguished way to dress nowadays.
Ffrench continued in her statement: “My favorite parts of the design are probably the rand and heel, where we were able to add metallic tones underneath a glossy acrylic, giving those parts of the shoe an even more extreme and textural look — juxtaposing them against the matte of the upper and sole,”
The Nike Air Max Dn x Isamaya Ffrench will be available to shop online at nike.com from 20 December 2024.
