Collection designed by Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez – the new creative directors of Loewe. Loewe’s SS’26 collection is a celebration of colours on the runway which is something we expect in the season compare to the AW’25 where colours surprising made their way to the runway making it a trend that can be called ‘Summer Came Early’, so in continuation of that bold colours were celebrated in sculptural silhouettes with touch of sensual physicality and both designers knows what they want in each designs.
As we all know Loewe to be a risk taker, every single pieces are risky, edgy, and electrifying – but what stood out in the designs as edgy and busy they are, both creative hands knows where they are going with their designs – they did not waste time designing edgy pieces without clarity. There were some ruched raggish knitwear in the collection that looked so beautiful and trendy which speaks of how the brand is trying to make couture part of everyday wear. There are some sashed mini skirts, oversized jackets, denim, layered dresses, sculptural leather cocktail dresses etc.
Another stand out pieces in the collection are the glass hand bags/purses, glossy shoes with kitten heels, loafers and leather top handle leather messenger bags known as Amazona 180 an iconic bag with a slouchy attitude, single top handle and new double L branding, let’s just say ‘prepare for a psychedelic summer next year’.
