Jill Sander's Creative Directors Exit The Fashion House

Lucie and Luke Meier has been the creative director at Jill Sander since 2017, the husband and wife duo says goodbye when they took their final bow at the Milan fashion week FW’25. It was announced on the Wednesday that the FW’25 collection will be the last collaboration. According to press release, Lucie said:

“Luke and I are touched to have presented our last collection for Jil Sander after 8 years with the house,” She continued on Instagram saying: “We want to thank everyone who has been involved and contributed their skill, creativity and energy. We are so proud of all we have achieved together, and even more proud of the wonderful friendships we have made.”

The FW’25 collection is called “A Bright Metaphor Of Love” “”Lucie and Luke Meier have envisioned a collection, and a staging, that turns darkness — the hues that seem to soak our times — into light, into the brilliance they invite us to capture.” said the show notes.

During the couple’s 8years in the office they brought fresh and minimalist take and approach to fashion, their reign at Jill Sander is reported to be a success with proven 17.3% growth in 2023.

Before joining Jill Sander Luke has worked for supreme and co-founded OAMC. Lucie on the other hand has worked for Balenciaga and Louis Vuitton, as part of her accolades was her interim creative director role at Dior after Raf Simons
