How To Wear The Smokey Eye Look With Infusion Of Runway Trend

Smoky eye look has been a go to when it comes to evening looks but the runways and red carpets have redefined it for us now – we can now wear it from day to night. Smokey eye look sounds like a simple look, as simple as it may look you must know what you’re doing before embarking on the look. The look is more or less like a rebellious rock and roll look but if attention is not paid to details it can become a WTF? moment. Here are the three steps you need to follow in order to achieve a sexy smoky eye look:

Pay Attention The Bottom Waterline:

The easy way to wear the smokey eye look this season is to buff out the bottom waterline ensuring it well blended, this is a way of updating the notoriously bold eye look dated to the 1920s. But then when you think of it we’ve always worn our smoky eye look ensuring the button water line is well blended, the trend of now is that it can be worn without the heaviness. A natural looking makeup with soft buffed out smoky eye look just as seen on SS’25 runways is the new modern way to wear a smoky eye look. Attention was paid to natural looking lashes, clean skin and perfected brows. Whether you’re apply colour or just classic black/grey the key point is to ensure it’s well buffed out to soften the edges.

Smudge The Eyes With One Colour

To wear this trend you must not care about the eyes looking perfect you must embrace the mess. All you need are two fingers, a standout colour pan and a cotton bud. Start by packing the colour on your fingers and pat all over the eye lid. Then use your index finger to smudge and soft-blur the edges of the eyeshadow and the cotton bud can be used to clean up any fall out. To add an extra edge to the look, go for two to three shades darker than your natural skin tone. Black shade is known to be outdated/out of trend but to keep up with the trend try the neutral tones from pink nude to rust. The key point is to blend almost to top of the brow and blend the edges to almost invisible, add metallic to the centre of the lid, finish with black liner and lashes to bring life to the eyes.

Create A Contrast For A Three Dimensional Look:

To wake the eyes up start with a soft hue shade then layer it up with a shade darker then finish it up with metallics this will add fun to your look instead of the one colour blow up. Creating a soft and well blended three dimensional look is a classic look that remains forever trendy – just keep it soft. You can also start the look with satiny metallic and deepen it with a darker matte shade to achieve a soft sheen look.
