When the Charlotte Tilbury unreal foundation was launched last year, the first word that came to us was ‘Wow’ and this was because of the glowy blurry effect it places on the skin. There are many foundations but the unreal stick foundation is one of the best foundation, it is packed full of nourishing ingredients, not greasy and lightweight.
So, when the brand launched the blush version this year’s summer – there was no argument but buy and wear. The blush comes in a stick form too, with not much wax compare to many stick makeup products nowadays that are too waxy. It’s pigmented, hydrating, luminous, contains hyaluronic acid for hydration, collagen for youthful skin and skin barrier defence matrix to strengthen the skin barrier.
When we at COVET wore the blush, it’s no lie to say it blends effortlessly on the skin, it is slightly heavier than the foundation version but truth be told the beautiful smooth healthy glow finish on the skin is worth it. Available in 6 super flattering shades and comes in a sleek packaging.
Our Reservation: As beautiful as the product is, the heaviness of the product can be a little bit intimidating and the packaging is too cheap. Here at covet when we tried to open up the product, the mechanism broke and we know what that is, you can have the best formula but what’s the worth of that product if the mechanism to aid application breaks so easily.
Our Recommendation: We will recommend the product to you base on the good skin nourishing ingredient it has, the price is reasonable, and we suggest to wind-up the product carefully when opening it up. It can be worn when on holiday, at work or even layer it up for evening occasion. Simply grab your brush and collect into the brush, then place it on the apple of your cheeks and blend upward, the trending placement right now is upward into the temple and under eye for that editorial edgy look
