Cardi B, after the success of her footwear launch with rebook last year, comes the apparel collection called ‘Summertime Fine’. The collection is said to remind Cardi B of summer on the coney Island broadwalk – Coney Island is located in the southernmost part of Brooklyn. The apparel pieces are said to reflect Reebok’s 90’s archive that features pastel hues, cuts-outs, retro layering, bright coloured juxtaposed designs and much more.
The ready to wear collection is also said to feature Cardi B’s footwear released last year. The two sneakers called Club C Double and Club C Cardi will be updated into new colourways with Cardi-coated shoe details, chunky stacked soles, high-shine patent uppers, and see-through midsoles.
Cardi B seem to be expanding her relationship with Reebok with this new RTW ‘Summertime Fine’ apparel collection, the collaboration aims to empower women and promote staying true to who you are. The collection also remind of Bruno Mars feat Cardi B – Finesse music video, it reflects Cardi B’s bold, fun and transparent character which I believe she’s brought into this collection. It was reported that she had to approve everything involve in this collection from fabric detailing to design.
“I’m so proud to announce my first apparel line with Reebok,” Cardi said on the debut collection. “This collection gives every woman the product they need to feel sexy and confident; the waist-snatching tights and curve-hugging silhouettes make everybody look amazing.” said Cardi B.
