Fall 2019 Street Style Trends That are taking Strides Everywhere:

The winter is coming to an end, and while we are eager to see the arrival of spring, our wardrobe needs an update of the a little late season outfit ideas. In on order to be in trend, we looked into the stylistas, and fashionistas on the street and not the runways.

We spotted the head-to-toe neutrals to puffer alternatives and cinching basically everything(statement belts), these fashion influencers are serving us style. And great news: You don’t have to go on a shopping spree to follow their lead. Because we’re guessing you already own plaid pieces, white button-downs and turtlenecks.

Read on to see the, eight street style trends that proved popular outside the Fall 2019 shows from New York Fashion week 2019 to Paris Fashion Week 2019.

Quilted Coats Are the New Puffers

While those larger-than-life puffers still popped up, quilted coats gained major traction. From super long to cropped or just paneled, the coats provided that much-needed hint of texture.  We also noticed a few pairs of quilted shorts and skirts which aren’t going anywhere soon.

Micro Bags

Micro bags have been trending for a while, but this season the bags were so tiny, we can’t even imagine what you could actually carry in them. We saw teeny-tiny belt bags, minuscule top-handle bags and even a bag with a mini bag charm.

The Statement Belts

The Statement belts are the biggest accessories of Fall’19 although it’s been around for a while. They were both wide and skinny, but the buckles were the real stars. They were outsize or boasted unique shapes. Wear them over blazers, button-downs, sweaters and coats, just not all at once for that that cinching effect.

The Head to Toe Neutral

To learn how to do the neural style trend, take it from the streetstyle crowd. What’s important is to work with texture and layer different shades of neutrals (like brown, tan, white and gray) for a put together finish. Also opt for neutral accessories.

Animal Prints

It’s the wild wild west all manner of animal prints on full display. We spotted leopard, zebra and snakeskin patterns. Some went with just a pop of print, others opted to combine different animals for a more eclectic look.

Colourful Fur Coats

Street Style stylistas and fashionistas  kept warm between shows, a dressed in notice-me fur coats. We’re talking of bold rich reds, bold blues, bright yellows and multicoloured versions. If you’re down to try this trend, we recommend going the faux fur route.

Turtlenecks as Base Layers

As the winter season unfolds, it’s no secret that turtle neck is every stylistas and fashionista go to fashion basic. But instead of making a statement, the street style set relied on the must-have items as base layers to build their outfits on. Turtlenecks were usually black, white, gray or burgundy and were layered under puff-sleeve blouses, suits, sweaters and wrap dresses for those unpredicted cold days.

Mad for Plaid

The plaid maniac trend is here stay, it was noticed to be worn as hint in a put together style and some worn head to toe. I will wear it as a blazer and it is perfect for your redux grunge wardrobe.
