Many brands have recently launched many new makeup products but not all are effective or put in another word performed as expected, for example Fenty Beauty recently launched Soft lit foundation, it would have been an excellent product if it hadn’t turned orange on us in some shades. Then we made a stop at Lancôme Lip Idole lip balm, it has every ingredient a skin will love but too waxy for the price paid. Don’t get me started on Morphe’s light form foundation that oxidised just like Fenty’s.
Anyway, after all the disappoints this season we manage to find a few good newly launched makeup products that performed, full of skin loving ingredients, long wearing, and won’t give up on you.
First off, Fenty Beauty bomb stix is worth every penny, it contains Squalane, Vitamin E , Shea Butter and Kiwi Oil – every nourishment a skin needs, it’s medium coverage, smells so beautifully, and that shine is everything! The moment you place it on your lips the instant boast of hydration with balmy effect that hugs the lips, you’re sure won’t regret buying it.
We also found Charlotte Tilbury’s beautiful skin glow lip + cheek can we just stand and give the brand a round of applauds for the attention to detail it pays to its products. At first when we saw the product here at COVET we were afraid as the product looks like it’s all going to be waxy but lord and behold it performed. It’s pigmented, blends seamlessly on the skin, it works well with other makeup products, long wearing and if you get it in ‘pinched cheek glow’ you’ve just taken your makeup look up a notch.
