3 Spring Summer 2024 Style Trends To Wear

3 Spring Summer 2024 Style Trend To Wear

Spring Summer is only four weeks away and the time to plan what to wear is never too early, the SS’24 runway was filled with everything ‘Classic Trend’ in my words. ‘Classic Tend? well, what this year’s runway brought is nothing new but old classics brought back to life, Classic meaning outfit that will never run out of trend, trend meaning everyone is gearing towards them more than ever equating to ‘Classic Trend’.

As we all know the first place to stop when putting a new season wardrobe together is the essentials, the classics then the trends. You’ve probably owned the key elements of a spring-summer wardrobe from a simple blazer for the between-weather to capri trousers to cope with the transitioning weeks, not forgetting to mention last season’s trend – Mary Janes, something red, hobo bags, etc. All the mentioned will make a great update to the forthcoming season, but pieces that will take your emotions to a place of ecstasy will be new trends from the SS’24 runway.

Even though the latest runway was filled with many trends to choose from, Covet will only be focusing on what will be practical in everyday lifestyle in the spring summer season 2024.

1. High Wasited Trousers

The highwaisted trousers is a very interesting outfit to wear this summer, yes it’s been around for a while but pairing it with a neutral colour tank top and a pair of mary jane heels will be how to wear the trend and give it a fresh take. Simple, minimal and sophisticated.

2. Super Shorts

Super shorts or hot pants again another classic outfit that ran it course in our wardrobe from the 90’s, which reminds me of the days of ‘Destiny’s Child’ on stage or ‘Dangerously In Love’ music video – “Hi Beyonce”. Hot pants are great for summer holidays when paired with crop tops and all, but when not on holiday it can be worn with a white t-shirt or with the same crop top with light blazer on top to polish the look and give it a sense of seriousness. To finish the look a pair of sneakers is all you need for weekend out with friends or a pair of white pumps for parties.

3. Rose Raomance

Summer season is a party season, thank goodness the designers who re-imagined floral printed dresses, giving us the confidence that this year’s parites will not lack a good dress. This trend did not stop at printed rose, many designers actually have their dresses designed with rose apliques allowing us wto wear couture as an everyday wear, when it used to be limited to red carpet events – ‘Hi Balmain’
